This text is a research about Vodka advertisments in magazines.

Would you please just have a quick review and let me know the huge mistakes? Thank you.

This is my assignment for university so please help me! :-)

GREY GOOSE:

Grey Goose’s advertisement have published in GQ, Vanitifair and Details magazines on Nov. 2005. Grey Goose asserting that they are the “world’s best tasting vodka”.

The newest campaign for Grey Goose feature its target market with the slogan “ The World’s Best Martini Starts With GREY GOOSE”. Colors of the advertisement are mostly dark, subdued and icy cold. They used variation of blue and gray as a background and foreground color.

GREY GOOSE’s bottle is on top of a piece of ice, which we can see the reflection of the bottle and glass on the ice. As the Name of GREY GOOSE depict the label of GREY GOOSE feature crisp, tranquil, open landscapes, with lakes and ice mountains prominently displayed.

Also their French origin is featured by the French’s flag on the bottle. Two pages before this advertisement there is another advertisement from GREY GOOSE that announce a TV schedule for GREY GOOSE entertainment program. This program is like a TV show. In each program they have some guest like Paul Newman and Christian Amanpour. They have twelve famous person in their programs, Two person in each show. As a result they introduce their guest for each show in a single page of magazine. Totally GREY GOOSE advertisements are shown in 8 pages. The audience that GREY GOOSE is speaking, mainly are people who taste is more important for them.

SMIRNOFF Vodka:

The format of advertisement for SMIRNOFF vodka, which have published in GQ and Vanity Fair magazines are simple. Background is white with some other bottle that indicate SMIRNOFF’s competitors. The SMIRNOFF bottle in front of others with it’s red labels attract audience attention.

The text says “ In a blind tasting of 21 of the world’s finest vodkas, which one did The New York Times declare their “ Hands-down favorite”? ”. In fact they mentioned a sentence of The New York Times magazine as a famous magazine in north american to emphasis on their quality .

The slogan on these advertisements is “ Clearly SMIRNOFF ” . The advertisement presents a sleek and smooth atmosphere to attract young people. Their goal is to ensure that the public believe the SMIRNOFF as a pioneer in the world of goods.

BELVEDERE Vodka:

This advertisement is very simple. A close up photograph of a BELVEDERE’s bottle with few olive in it. The advertisement is in Two Pages. The second page of advertisement is very simple, white background with few text and no image. Their main slogan is “ MARTINIS VS. WATER”, then they have a recipe for how to make Martini to die for . This recipe contribute audience to buy a BELVEDERE and try to make a Martini. The advertisement headlines the phrase “ BELVEDERE and THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE”. Also the Advertisement emphasizing on the important of water in people’s life with this slogan “ Yes, Water Is A Necessity For Life”.

LEVEL Vodka:

The format of the advertisement is very similar to Smirnoff’s advertisement, same concept and same layout. They used black for their background color. Some bottles in the bottom of the Advertisement which indicate to their competitor’s bottles, and a bottle of LEVEL Vodka which horizontally stand on top of the other bottles.

The advertisement emphasize on the perfect balance of smoothness and taste. The audience that level is speaking, mainly are people who smoothness and test of vodka are important for them.
