Would you please explain two parts of scripts in the Movie"The Bucket List"?

Scripts go like:
----------------------------------------------------------------
Cater: Can I have some water?
Virgina: You can't have water, but I'll get you some of those lemon swabs, okay?
All right.
Cater:You still drinking that fancy coffee?
Edward:What? What are you, obsessed?
Carter: Read it.
Edward Cole:
"Kopi Luwak is the world's most expensive coffee.
Though for some, it falls under the category of 'too good to be true. '
In the Sumatran village where the beans are grown...
...lives a breed of wild tree cat.
These cats eat the beans, digest them and then...defecate.

The villagers then collect and process the stools.
It is the combination of the beans and the gastric juices of the tree cat...
...that give Kopi Luwak its unique flavor and aroma. "
Edward: You're shitting me.
Carter: Cats beat me to it.

-----------------------------------------

#1 "Kopi Luwak is the world's most expensive coffee.
Though for some, it falls under the category of 'too good to be true. '

Would you express the upper sentence as other one to make me know more easier ?

-> Especially, I can't understnad this part "Though for some" of them.
Though means nevertheless , so If i replace "though" as "nevertheless" and fill the skipped word-"reasons" in after for some
so here goes:
Kopi Luwak is the world's most expensive coffee.
nevertheless it falls under the category of 'too good to be true for some (reasons)

Does this sentense mean same for the origin one that "Kopi Luwak is the world's most expensive coffee.
Though for some, it falls under the category of 'too good to be true. ' ?

#2. Cats beat me to it.
Would you express the upper sentence as other one to make me know more easier ?
= Cats surpass me and Cats are to it.
or Cates make me do to it.

It's more like "nevertheless, it falls under the category of 'too good to be true' for some people ". I think that the writing on the package is supposed to be in the slightly broken English you might expect from a Sumatran, to add to its exotic quality. The sentence is unclear to say the least.

  • The sentence is unclear to say the least.
  • Carter is making a little joke.
  • " The coffee beans are gleaned from the *** of a civet cat, so Carter replies that the cats are already "********" him.
