I'd like to know the difference of nuances in each sentences.
- He seems to be rich VS He seems rich.
- I think him to be rich VS I think him rich.
- They found her clam to be reasonable VS They found her clam reasonable.
after all, my point of question is about the mean and usage of "to be" i can't find the explanation of it which can let me know it . Please show me your proper, specific answer that include examples
As i' m gonna write the things i thought about "to be" if i add "to be" in certain sentence like this , it can have the nuance that her clam is subjective of reasonability (#1) if it wrote without "to be" , it means that her clam has the objective nuance of it (#2)
#1 - They found her clam to be reasonable #2 - They found her clam reasonable
