Would you please correct this ?

I set off for L.A. with my colleague by my car at 5 am.We decided to take the route alongside with the west coast of the U.S. While taking the road, we stopped by some vista points. We could see magnificent cliffs standing right close to the sea. It overwhelmed me. We stopped the car on and off quite frequently because there were many great views. Around noon, we found a small restaurant. The owner says " How are you?" . I said " I have been driving for 5 hours. Quite tired" after eating lunch, I carried on driving. It took me 11 hours to reach L.A. The city was quite boring. The same building which I could see in other cities made me feel bored. But the night view from the observatory was undiscribably fabulous. on the way there one guy told me " Do you guys want me to take picture of both of you?" I answered " yeah, thank you" . This picture became the first picture in which we both were taken. I told him " Do you want me to take your picture? "
But I was thinking I should have said " Do you want me to take picture of you? " I am still not sure which is correct.
