Would you please correct my English

Hello there,

I am desperately looking for someone to proofread the enclosed part of my essay. My prof said it is an interesting topic and that he could imagine to propose it for publication. Therefore I want to make a good impression, but I am so self-conscious about my English. If you could have a look on the grammar and style, I would appreaciate it so much. This part is four pages, I hope that is not too long.
