My friends in university
My name is Chung. I am a third-year student, majoring in chemical engineering at Qui Nhon university. I was born Qui Nhon and have lived here with my parents and brother. I have many friends at my university but we learn together and hang out in groups.

First to all, my group included seven members two years ago. Each of the members came from different places and first were acquainted with each other. We talked a lot in classes and felt a strong connection between us. Qui Nhon has many beautiful scenes and delicious seafood so sometimes I go out with them at the weekends and on holidays. The best of my memory was that we studied in military school. It was a great time and I never forgot that time. At the military school, we were divided into two areas for man and women. We studied in two different places and hardly talked to each other during the day. However, we had a plan to meet at a bench in the school and then bought candies, cookies, and water bottles to drink and eat in the evening. Then, we told about funny stories and took a lot of photos to keep those good memories.

When I was a second-year student, our friendship was much closer, and we became best friends. Some members of our group lived on the outskirts of Quy Nhon and the rest of group was in a small bedsit or hostel. We though that we should find a convenient place for learning as well as meeting each other in the group, so we decided to rent an apartment. At first, everyone was so happy when we lived together. When we had lived there for two months, Tim fell in love with Nancy. They usually quarreled with us because we intervened their personal issues. Although everyone tried to solve it, it was useless. Since then, they were out of the group by themselves and we didn’t talk anymore like we used to do. I felt very sad because we were not close to each other like before but I hoped that they will be happy in the future.

On the other hand, King has just joined my group even though we didn’t talk too much before. He is a fat boy whose personality is very cute. He also studies well in school. At present, there are six members in my group but our friendship isn’t as good as before.
Firstly, I think that Lyly is my best friend in the group. She is a short girl and has a dark-skinned but she always expect that she is the most beautiful in the world. She has a boyfriend who has loved her for five years. I sometimes go out with her to chat with each other, take a walk around the country by motorbike and share stories of joy and sorrow in daily life. She helps me a lot in my love-story and encourages me to be confidents that I have to hide for a long time. She is very gentle and nice so she is the easiest to be teased in the group. Lyly has three sisters, and she is the eldest child in the family. The finance of her family is not good. Her parents don’t give her much money and she doesn’t need to depend on them. She has to study in school and find a part-time job at the same time. Besides, she spends too much time earning money so she does not have time for studying. I advise her that she should focus on studying but she does not listen to me because she is very stubborn and does not want to change her mind.

Secondly, Tira is my second friend in the group and her family situation is very bad. Her father died because of the work-related accident when she was young. Her mother married another man so she had lived with her aunt. From her earliest childhood she was a strong girl and always tried to overcome all difficulties in life. She never asks her mother for money although she still keeps in touch with her. When she graduated from secondary school, she began to look for part-time jobs. She and I got to know each other when our class had the first meeting at the beginning of the year. We got together to sing karaoke, dance and talk to each other a lot. She is a cute girl, easy going, very kind and especially talkative. She treats me well except that she does not pay her debt for me. Due to the fact that I am extremely sympathetic to her family situation, I rarely remind her about it. She borrowed money from me two years ago and hasn’t yet returned it. I hope that she will never forget her debt and pay me next time.

Thirdly, Vango and Huhy are my last two friends in the group. They are not good-looking and quite tall. They are very industrious people so they help me a lot in learning. Their personality is quite similar to each other and they rarely notice my feelings. I often quarrel with them about that. Their family situation is also quite rich so they usually help the girls with money in my group.

Finally, we always try to keep this friendship. I hope that our friendship will continue and always be friends forever.
