Suppose I am talking to a child. This child always stretched his hand out to touch the things beside him when he is walking straight. So I say:

"Don't touch the things beside you, your hand could be hurt."

Grammatically, is there any problem? What do you suggest?

Grammatically, it is a comma-splice run-on sentence. The comma should be replaced with a colon, semicolon or full stop.

We would also probably say 'Don't touch anything while you're walking'.

If you have an "if" statement, you use would.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I think could is also correct.

Often I asked questions on how to express general conversation from a personal point of view. The content of such questions could differ according to locations, situations or a person's emotion. (Answering solely based on English terms and knowledge could be inappropriate).

I didn't understand what was 'Conditional I sentence' or 'comma-splice run-on sentence'. I made some additional effort to check them out. They were really interesting, but honestly, they were not my concern for the question.
