Thank you for the book and it was great meeting you at the Powder Springs Business Association meeting . Your book really helps with my project. I hope you would do me a favor. Is there any way or would you mind sending to me some of the pictures in an electronic format? I'd appreciate very much. The pages of pictures that I would like to use for the project are page 5, page 45, and page 77-80.

Nancy, wait a moment! There is more involved in using the pictures than asking him (her?) to send them to you in a digital format. Before you even talk about how to send them, ask for PERMISSION to use them. If they are in a book, they are copyrighted material and you need explicit permission to use them - it's very presumptuous to simply ask for them to be sent to you.

Try something like this: Thank you very much for the book. It has been so helpful to me that I would like to ask permission to use some of the pictures for our city project. Specifically, I would like to be able to use the pictures on pages 5, 45, and 77-80. Would you please advise me on what I need to do to obtain that permission, and if approved, who can provide me with the images? Thank you very much.
