Would you have written sentence like?

Can a teacher please tell me do the clauses go together? Can you start a sentence the way I did?

As much as I try to be nice to the cat, it does things that drive me crazy and I am back to hating it again.

I like it, but it could use a comma between the last two independent clauses: As much as I try to be nice to the cat, it does things that drive me crazy, and I am back to hating it again.

I thank you for your time and answer. Could I take up a few minutes of your time to ask if it is possible to start a sentence like thus?
As well and as impressive in the same sentence is it ok?

As well as Anthony's done with his 50 points, John is as impressive with his 35 points considering he's not a big scorer.

As well as he's done, it just was enough.

As man

That is good English.

AnonymousAs many times as he's done it, it should be names after him.
