#1. I go to school on bus.
 #2. I go to school by bus.
#3. I go to school on the bus.
#4. I go to school by the bus.

Q1. Are they grammatical and Can they be used well?

Q2. I'd like know the difference of mean in a case whether an article "the"  is or not.
