Would you explain about something below?

I read a sentence that"The truth became known to us all". and then I made a sentence like this
"The truth was to us all"
At now I got curious about wheather it make sense or not.
Is this a right sentence for both grammatical and capable to use?I amnot sure this is right becase I amnot a English native speak.

I'd like you to answer wheather other sentences replacing preposition,"to" make sense or not. Of course, I know they would mean different.
"right" means to have meaning in it and It can be used.
"?" = I'mn't sure it have meaning and it can be used.

ljswaveThis question are for testing my understnading of meaning of preposition in the sentences.Making up random sentences with prepositions is not going to do much for your understanding. It's possible to dream up contexts for one or two of your sentences, but most of them are meaningless.
