A "split" is something that happens in some versions of poker.

Possibly five Monopoly dollars. I would expect it to be clear from the context what they are betting with.

In poker a card that is "wild" can stand for any other card in order to make a hand. Presumably it's clear from the context what a "coyote" is in the game since, as far as I know, it's not a standard term in poker.

They are saying that the space-guy isn't very smart although in this case the "person" making the comment is himself shown to be not that smart because he mangles the expression by forgetting that "the drawer" is "the place where they keep the knives." There are an endless number of such comments. Here is a list of some but note that not all of these expressions are in common use.
