Would you correct my English? (Sept. 30)

Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Will you correct them?

No. 1

M: I didn't know this restaurant was [ is ] so popular.

F: There's always a big lunch crowd.

M: Well, we're ninth on the list now, so we have to wait a little

longer.

No. 2

M: Excuse me, did you witness the train accident?

F: Witness? I was in it. I saw the whole thing!

( Q. What word should be pronounced in "I'm in it."? )

M: Really? I'm a newspaper reporter [ writer ].

Could you answer a few questions?

Thank you. kenta
