Would you correct my English? (Sep.8)

Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Will you correct them?

No. 1

M: Thirty-five hundred dollars! Can't you give me a better price than

that [ give me a discount on the price ]?

F: I'm afraid that's a half off the list price.

M: I hoped prices here would be up to 50 percent off.

No. 2

M: That building facing the park was the first cathedral in this city.

F: It's so magnificent! Can we go in [ into ] and take a look?

M: Good idea. I'll [ am going to ] ask the guard there.

Thank you. kenta
