Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Would you check them, please?

No. 1

M: I heard Maki failed the chem [ chemistry ] exam. I never dreamed

[ Never did I dream ] of it.

F: Right. I encouraged her try ( it ) again.

M: Good. I'm sure she'll pass it next time.

No. 2

M: You know, the tax will be raised next year.

F: Well, the government needs more money to restore the devastated

areas. I think it can't be helped.

M: I don't think so. I can't understand what the prime minister is thinking.
