Would you correct my English, please? ( May 18 )

Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Would you check them, please?

No. 1

M: Are there any jobs that still need to be done [ we still need to do ]?

F: Yeah, we need to get permission to use fire from the closest [ nearest ]

fire station.

M: Well, then I'll call there [ it ] first.

No. 2

M: Mom, I want to go ( and / to ) see the fireworks this evening?

F: Well... I'm not sure we can.

M: Why? You love fireworks.

F: I do, but I just can't stand [ bear ] the crowd(s).
( Q Which is better "crowd" or "crowds"? )

Thank you. kenta

Hi,

No. 1

M: Are there any jobs that still need to be done [ we still need to do ]?

F: Yeah, we need to get permission to use fire from the closest [ nearest ]

fire station. In Canada, Fire Stations extinguish fire. They don't provide fire. That's what your sentence sounds like.
