Would you correct my English? ( Oct. 6 )

Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Will you correct them?

No. 1

M: This is for you. I'm sure you'll like it.

F: Oh, how lovely ( it is ) ! This is just what I ( 've ) wanted.

How thoughtful of you!

M: You're welcome [ Forget it ]. I'm glad you like [ liked ] it.
( Q Any difference between like and liked? )

No. 2

M: You advertise CD players at a 30% discount, but the shop

across the street sells ( ones ) for 35% off. Here's a flier.

F: Oh, really? Then we'll sell them at a 40% discount.

M: Thank you. I'll take it.

Thank you. kenta

Thank you, Mr Micawber.

I have one question.

>You advertise CD players at a 30% discount, but the shop across the street sells them for

Why should we use "them", not "ones"?

I can't distinguish them.

I think 'ones' needs a modifier: I like the green ones, not the blue ones. The ones at the other store are cheaper.

Now I see, Mr Micawber. Thank you again!
