Would you correct my English? ( Oct. 30 )

Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Will you correct them?

No. 1

M: Do you have any strings, Maki?

F: Sure. Here they are. Which color do you want, black or white?

M: Either will do as long as [ only if ] I can tie these magazines with them.

No. 2

M: Excuse me, do you know where a convenience store is?

F: Yes, go up this street and turn left at the third intersection.

A 7-Eleven is just across the bookstore.

M: Thank you very much. You helped me a lot.

Thank you. kenta

I think it would sound more natural to say:
CliveM: Excuse me, do you know where a convenience store is?
Excuse me, is there a convenience store round here?
CliveA 7-Eleven is just across from the bookstore.
There's a 7-Eleven just across from the bookstore.
