Would you correct my English? ( Nov.29 )

Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Will you correct them?

M: Wake up, Kana. You know how hard this math teacher is.

F: Oh, thank you. If I fail [ flunk ] the next exam, I can't move up

to [ advance to ] the second year [ grade ].

M: Don't worry. Sure you can.

No. 2

M: I was picked on [ bullied ] for a while in elementary school.

F: Really? Why didn't you fight back? You look stout.

M: When I was a boy [ As a boy ], I was small. I became stout over the years.

Thank you. kenta
