Would you correct my English? ( Mar. 21 )

Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Would you check them, please?

No. 1

M: Would you like to go bowling?

F: I'd love to, but I can't. I had to buy a new suit yesterday.

M: No worries. I'll pay a bill for the bowling [ I'll pay the bill ].

F: Thanks a million.

No. 2

M: Was Maki absent from school yesterday?

F: Yes. I hear she caught [ had / has ] a cold.

M: Do you know if she's here today?

F: Yes. She's at home. I got an e-mail from her.

Thank you. kenta
