Would you correct my English? ( July 14 )

Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Will you correct them?

No. 1

F: Umm, I can't open the lid of this honey bottle.

M: That happens. I'll try it, or how about putting maple syrup on

your bread instead. I'm sure it matches bread.

F: OK. Actually, I'd rather maple syrup than honey.

No. 2

M: Your package should arrive on the third or the fourth.

F: But before, you promised it would be here on the first.

M: I'm sorry. We've just merged with another company and our

new system isn't working well.
