Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Would you check them?

M: Good morning. Boxing Magazine. How may I help you?
F: This is Tom Willson. I'd like to speak to the editor in chief.
M: He's on another line at the moment. Would you like to call back
later?
No. 2
M: It is a shame that I can't watch the live coverage of the sumo
tournament due to [ because of ] the gambling scandal.
F: It's a very harsh decision, but it can't be helped.
M: Yes, I'll watch an abbreviated [ digest ] program on TV.
