Would you correct my English? ( Jan.3 )

Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Will you correct them?

No. 1

M: Is this your first time snowboarding [ to snowboard ]?

F: Yes, so I fell over again and again!

M: It's difficult at first, but you'll get used [ accustomed ] to it.

F: I certainly hope so.

No. 2

M: Hello? I can't hear you very well. Would you speak a little louder?

F: Sure. This is Mary. May [ Can ] I speak to John?

M: Sorry, ( but ) he's out at the moment. Can I take a message?

F: No. It's not urgent. I'll call back later [ again ].

I'll continue to ask questions about English this year, too.

I hope you'll help me study English. Thank you. kenta

Hi, Mr Wordy. I like your comments very much.

You not only corrected my English but also gave me lots of instructive comments!

Could I ask you a question?

You wrote a few times "Others may differ."

What do you mean by this sentence?

Thank you very much. kenta

You wrote a few times "Others may differ."

What do you mean by this sentence?

I just mean that other people might have a different opinion about what's the most natural phrasing in the given situation. For example, while I don't naturally say "May I speak to so-and-so", there are no doubt some native speakers who do.
