Question

Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Would you check them?

No. 1

M: I heard from Ben that Mr. Suzuki will get the promotion.

F: I'm so happy for him. He's working [ He's been working ] very hard

for the company.

M: Yes. He said if he couldn't, he would quit the job.

No. 2

M: Where shall we meet next Sunday? Anywhere is OK.

F: How about in front of ABC Department store. It's easy to find.

M: Sure. Let's meet there. Please remember [ don't forget ] to bring binoculars.

M: Yes. He said if he didn't, he would quit the job. -- i.e. didn't get the promotion.

M: Where shall we meet next Sunday? Anywhere is OK.

F: How about in front of ABC department store. It's easy to find. -- Either "department store" or "Department Store", depending on whether you consider it to be a part of the name or simply descriptive.

M: Sure. Let's meet there. Please remember [ don't forget ] to bring binoculars. -- Not wrong, but it would be more usual to say "bring your binoculars", assuming the person was bringing their own pair.

[Edit] Oh, one other thing... if you're on familiar, friendly terms with the person, then you probably wouldn't say "please" in the last sentence (unless you emphasised it in a "you always forget things" kind of way). You might soften the request with "Remember to bring your binoculars, won't you?" Here, "please" sounds either formal, or as if you are in a position to instruct the other person what to do. "Please" is a funny word in English, actually. It doesn't always quite do what it "says on the tin"!
