Would you correct my English? ( Feb. 21 )
Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Will you correct them?
No. 1
M: What kind of car do you have?
F: It's 4WD, because we have a lot of snow ( around ) here.
M: I'm thinking of buying a new car. Let me have [ take ] a look at it.
F: Sure. Come ( over ) to my house this evening.
No. 2
M: You're a university student, aren't you? What year [ grade ] are you in?
F: I'm a sophomore.
M: What are your plans after graduation?
F: I want to teach English at senior high school.

In your parlance, perhaps. I am not aware that this pronunciation is in general use in conversational British English. The written abbreviation is certainly used, but looks slightly odd in the context of this dialogue unless one assumes
