Would you correct my English? (Dec.1)

Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Would you check them?

No. 1

M: It hasn't stopped raining for (these) three days. I never expected it.

F: It's the heat that I can't stand. It's way too hot!

M: I think we chose the wrong place to visit [ come ] in winter.

No. 2

M: Have you tried the new (shopping) mall on Charles avenue?

It's close [ near ] and they have wonderful fresh vegetables.

F: I always buy my vegetables at the supermarket by [ near / close to ] the station.

M: I think the new mall offers better quality.

Thank you!
