Would you correct my English? (Apr.4)

Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Will you correct them?

No. 1

M: Do you know why I've called you into my office?

F: Yes. I know I have to boost my sales figures.

M: Right. They were disastrous last month. You should make some plans

for improvement.

No. 2

M: Where's the company letterhead? I need to write a letter to my client.

F: Have you looked in the supply cabinet?

M: Of course. Are they out? Then I have to order some packs of it.

Thank you. kenta

In the second, the question seems out of place (not incorrect, but inappropriate). Why would he ask if the paper is out if he just checked and didn't
