Saying that most Chinese can speak English, he cheated me into leaving for China though he knew that I couldn't speak Chinese at all.I hope you correct the sentence if there is some fault.Thanks.

Here's a small comment.
In my experience, much more common, particularly in everyday English, is to say
Saying that most Chinese people can speak English, . . .

I think that Chinese speakers of English are the most likely to refer to themselves as 'the Chinese'.
And in the singular, sentences like 'A Chinese sat beside me on the bus' are very unnatural.
