Would you check the underlined sentence please?

How do you do?I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me whether the underlined sentence is grammatically correct or not.
How achievable you think your goal is affects how far you recognize the distance is from the goal. I wrote the above sentence myself. But I am not sure if it is grammatically correct. Thanks.Hyeonjeong from Korea

The underlined sentence is technically grammatical and understandable but awkward-sounding. It might be better as:

"How achievable you think your goal is affects how far you think you are from that goal."
