Would you check my English?

Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Will you correct them?

No. 1

M: I've got good news! My dog has just given birth to [has just had]

four puppies.

F: Are they all brown like their mother?

M: No, just one of them is brown. The others are while like their father.

No. 2

M: I've been looking for my math textbook, but I don't know where it is.

Have you seen it around here?

F: Yes. It's on the bookshelf over there, the second shelf from the

bottom, on the far right.

Thank you!

" You can also say "just one is brown" and omit "of them" but it's not wrong to include it. Otherwise, good job as usual.

Thank you. But I have a question, Avangi.

Edit. GG, do you always go all wobbly when you see new puppies?

What does this sentence mean?

Whoops - I totally missed the white/while.

When they are first born, their cute-level is a bit low, but give them three weeks. There is no such thing as a non-cute kitten or puppy.

Yes, I get all silly over puppies and kittens. The same cannot be said for human babies, despite have spawned a couple myself. (I get wobbly over my own though; don't worry, I'm not an unnatural mothe

Right. I also think of Margaret Thatcher's remark to George Bush Sr. re some impending world crisis, "Don't go all wobbly on us now, George," or something like that. Something causes a serious and resolute person to say "awww!"

I read your comments several times, and now I got it.

English is still difficult for me, but I'll keep on studying. Thank you!

Surely you're not talking about me with that description??

Sometimes I just lose my bearings - and have to have them replaced - or at least re-lubricated.

Sorry, kenta. Just ignore me and I'll go away.
