Would you check my English?

Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Will you check them?

No. 1

M: You look depressed, Jill. What's the matter?

F: It's my pet rabbit. I had to take him to the vet this morning and ...

M: Oh, really? I can't tell you how sorry I am.

No. 2 On the train

M: It seems that we are on the wrong train. We should have arrived

by now.

F: Why don't we get off at the next station?

M: OK. We'd better ask someone for directions.

Thank you!

Hi Kenta, They look fine to me. Why, though, does M in dialogue 1 interrupt F just as she's telling him what happened to her pet rabbit?

My English sometimes sounds too formal, doesn't it? Thank you, Micawber!
