Would you...

Hi,

#1: Would you do enjoy some cooking lessons?

#2: Would you really enjoy some cooking lessons?

Is the first sentence correct? If not, why?

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,

Luciano

Hi Luciano No, your first sentence is not correct. You do not need to add the word do in order to form a question with the verb enjoy and the modal verb would . You simply need to invert the word would and the subject: - You would enjoy it.
