Are these correct? What do they mean?
1. Creating your talent inventory refreshes your memory and helps you immediately
remember experiences you would otherwise have forgotten during the interview. (What does it mean when I use past perfect here?)

2. Creating your talent inventory refreshes your memory and helps you immediately
remember experiences you would otherwise forget during the interview. (What does it mean when I use past tense here?)

Thanks.
