Would / will , see / watch

A: You should give up smoking. It's injurious to health. You know that.

B: Allah right. But if my friends are smoking would / will I just see / watch them smoking?

I think it should be 'would', for its a hypothetical situation. Am I right?

I think it should be 'watch'; I don't know the reason. Am I right?

Thanks.
