Would-will

Hi everybody,

I would like to know whether the sentences have the same meaning,

#1 Living wth friends would be a happy life.

#2 Living with friends will be a happy life.

Thank you

Hi goat, Will sometimes can express certainty or confidence about present or future situations. g: Tomorrow will be cloudy, with some rain. Would is sometimes used as a softer, less definite form of will, or in some cases as the past of will.

Hi goat,

Will sometimes can express certainty or confidence about present or future situations.

E.g: Tomorrow will be cloudy, with some rain.

Would is sometimes used as a softer, less definite form of will, or in some cases as the past of will.

So both of your sentences are similar.

No, they don't.

#1 is like

I can imagine a case of someone living with friends. I imagine that that situation would be a happy life.

#2 is like

I know a case of someone who is going to live with friends. I am sure that that situation will be a happy life.
