Would vs might

We are at for the jungle for the first time and there is a house and it looks quiet from outside. Can I ask my friend, 'do you think somebody would be in the house?' Or 'do you think somebody might be in the house?' Which one is correct and what's the reason? Please explain briefly. I am so confused. Thank you.

To my ear, 'might' sounds like the more probable choice. On the other hand, 'would' is correct as well, and it has nearly the same meaning in the given sentence. CJ
