Would this pass for an intruduction to a bachelor's work?
Hi. A friend of mine asked me if I could help them to translate a short piece. Of course I agreed. However, when I opened the original, Czech, I wasn't too keen on it then, because I don't have any experience in writing in the Academic lingo and style. I did make an attempt, though. Can you see and tell me if it's acceptable?

The aim of this bachelor essay is to inform the general public about Bone Marrow Transplantation. The study is comprised of two parts: theoretical, research.
The theoretical part of the essay includes detailed information regarding bone marrow transplantation; anatomy of blood formation (Haematopoiesis); basic hemato-oncological diseases; types of TKD, phases, indications, complications, nursing care before and after surgery. The essay also mentions The Czech National Registry of Bone Marrow Donors.
The research part focuses mainly on processing and evaluation of data obtained from questionnaire survey exercised in the general public.

Notes: I am not too sure about 'hemato-oncological' but she has written 'hematoonkologické' in the original.
I then inserted the original version into Google Translate to see a comparison, and I was stunned by the magnificent and almost identical result the translator produced. I actually think that the Google version is even better.

I actually don't know. I was just given that piece to translate and no other extra info. I am wondering whether my 'bachelor essay' is okay. Should I put in an apostrophe? I want to use 'bachelor' as an adjective.

Thanks. About the 'general public' issue: I actually do not know. I believe it is only a simulation to pretend that it is for the public.
