Would these phrases be correct in Future Perfect tense?

1."I will be in London for six months by the time I leave"

instead of

"I will have been in London for six months by the time I leave"

and

2."By Monday, Susan will have my book for a week"

instead of

"By Monday, Susan will have had my book for a week"

I was wondering if an exception could be made to the rules when the verb indicates state (1st phrase) and possession (2nd phrase)

Thank you

No. I don't know of any exception.

Use future perfect tense for these types of sentences (completion of an action as of a future time.)

I'm afraid not. You need the perfect form if you have both a for-time phrase and a by (the time) clause.

I will be in London for six months. OK.

I will be in London by the time ... OK.
