Would the following be suitable questions and answers?

Hi teachers,
This is for a listening comprehension exercise. The text is from a CD. (The Elephant Man)
Context:
Dr Treves,’ he said, slowly. ‘You and the nurses are very kind, and I’m very happy here. Thank you very much. But … I know I can’t stay here long, and … I would like to live in a lighthouse, after the hospital, please.

Assuming that we know that 'he' is 'Merrick', would the following be suitable questions and answers?
1. What did Merrick think about the doctor and the nurses? He thought they were very kind.
2. Was Merrick grateful for that? Yes, he was.
3. How do you know? Because he thanked the doctor.
4. What was Merrick aware? He was aware that he couldn’t stay in the hospital long.
5. Where would Merrick like to go in the future? To a lighthouse.
