Would rather + future

Hello!

Is it okay to say "I would rather you wouldn't call me at work tomorrow." ?

Or should I use in this case (referring to the future) past simple?

Thank you in advance.

No, say this:

"I would rather you didn't call me at work tomorrow."

This is more acceptable:

I would rather you didn't call me at work tomorrow.
