Would rather and would prefer in the past.

Hello again Emotion: smile

Today I was wondering about the usage of "would rather" and "would prefer" in sentences.

I was the most doubtful about "would rather" & "would prefer" in sentences that refer to the past.

examples:

1. As a kid I would have rather have stayed at home than have stayed at school.
2. I would rather him not have been a member of the junior soccer team two years ago.
3. When Tommy was young he'd have preferred to have eaten pizza rather than have eaten spaghetti.

Can you please tell me if those are grammatically correct sentences? If not please tell me how to use "would rather" and "would prefer" in sentences that are about the past Emotion: smile.

Thanks for your help!
