Grammar

Would rather

Hello Emotion: smile

I have a question regarding "would rather."

A: I would rather she came with us.

B: I would rather she comes come with us.

According to grammar rules, "would rather" should always be followed by a past tense when other people are involved in the action.

However I sometimes come across the sentences like example B, followed by a present tense or occasionally a future tense.

Are the sentences like B acceptable in spoken language?

Many thanks for your help in advance. Emotion: wink
