would not let me have taken. correct?

Hi teachers!

Could somebody let me know please if the following sentence is grammatically correct? How could it be corrected?

"John, on the other hand, was an egoist last time and would not let me have taken his snowboard for just 5 days!"

I have one more question. If there were another verb than "take" would you need the "to"?

Exapmle: "... and would not have let me to beat her ex-boyfriend up."

No. The dependency goes the other way around. It is "let" that governs "take". It is not "take" that governs "let".

"let" is not followed by the full infinitive with "to".

Let me go. Let him see. I don't let the children watch TV after 9 o'clock.
