I would be grateful if someone can solve my problem.

we would like confirmation that a timer/schedule control will be provided and installed with the lighting system.

we want to have confirmation that a timer/schedule control will be provided and installed with the lighting system.

Hi, We would like is much more polite. We want to have is not polite. There are other standard ways of saying this, eg We would be grateful for.

We would like is much more polite. We want to have is not polite.

There are other standard ways of saying this, eg We would be grateful for.
