Would I use a colon, semi-colon or hyphen for this sentence?
I was about to post a status about the song Lonely Boy by the Black Keys when I had no idea which or the above to use when saying 'I'm not sure what's best * the song or the man dancing.'. Could someone help me decide which to use (where the asterisk is). I'm not even going to post the status anymore, it's just bugging me haha.

One of the uses of the colon is to indicate that what follows it is an explanation or elaboration of what precedes it, the idea being that the more general statement is followed by a more specific one. In your sentence, 'best' is general and needs elaboration: Hence, I'm not sure what's best: the song or the man dancing.
