Would help to remember the word?

I want to know the verb meaning 'to force sb to return to their own country'. I think I saw such a word in a dictionary but I can't remember it now. And I think it includes patr- (related to Latin patria) as a part.

I wouldn't say that 'repatriate' usually includes the idea of 'force'.
