Would help me correct the grammar for the following sentences?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Per merchants meeting on November 11, 2006, the members have asked the Mayor the following questions:

  1. The merchants have open houses this Friday and Saturday, and want to know if the City does anything for them in the Marietta Journal.

  2. They have asked if a police can be out on Marietta Street on Friday between 5:00 – 8:00 for their open house, and the explorer would come out on Saturday between 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

  3. When is the City Christmas Tree lighting? They would like to know by the end of this week.

  4. The merchants also want to know when the City is going to put up the wreaths and lights. They would like to have all come up by Thursday for their open houses.
Please let me know how I can address these questions.
