Would have

Hi,

According to the use of "would have" I can understand example no.1 but examples from 2 to 6 after would "have" not used. Are these mistakes or not though I selected these examples from www.dictionary.cambridge.org I guess examples from 2 to 6 not correct according to the use of "would have" because "have" should have been used after every would but I am not sure. Please, let me know.

would have is used to refer back to a ?time in the past from a ?point of ?view in the ?future:

1-We ?thought they would have got ?home by five o'clock, but there was no ?reply when we ?phoned.
