Would have

1. I asked her to come for lunch, if she didn't come, it would have taken 3 days for me to eat the food I cooked.

2. Many governments have granted money to rebuild Tsunami affected countries, without those money, it would have taken much longer time to restore the buildings and properties and get back to business.

My question is on the words 'it would have taken'.

What is the grammatical nature of those words?
