would finish reading

(a) With a little more time, I could finish reading the rest of the book.

(b) With a little more time, I would finish reading the rest of the book.

I think that there is no problem with (a), but I'm not sure if (b) is natural. I suppose (b) is possible when the speaker has the intention of reading through the book despite the fact that he/she has no time to do so. What do you think?

a) I could finish = I would be able to finish. You would have the option but not necessarily the desire. Like you said "I would finish" - you have the desire.
